Weather update: we have had a few people checking if we are still going ahead give the weather. We are planning to open as normal.

We visited the site this afternoon and though it has been raining heavily the underlying ground is solid. The grass is wet and there are some puddles on the road, but the fields should be okay. The ground in the camping fields drains well and tends not to get muddy or waterlogged.

The latest weather forecast for the site suggest that the worst of the weather will pass by the time we get going on Friday evening and will ease of almost completely for Saturday.

If you are arriving in a motorhome or a large camper van you might want to use our River Meadow camping field or the Top Field to camp up as these both have much flatter access to the fields. The far end of the day parking field will also be open for those with larger vehicles.

The events all take place under cover – both for the performers and for the guests. We have a large marque for the Saturday events and the smaller Barn for Friday evening, the Sunday Café and for the dances as well as a covered outdoor area by the kitchen and Bar.

Currently the team are working on the farm to get things ready, preparing the food and making sure the gutters are cleared. Some early arrivals are already on site.

The camping fields are open from midday tomorrow as will the day parking field. We lose the light on the Farm around 8pm so arriving before that time would be recommended.

Our first event is the Tai Chi session at 5:30 followed by our Charleston and Swing dance workshops from 7pm.
